My life is driven by wind, water, and the challenge of capturing the perfect moment. Windsurfing isn’t just a sport to me—it’s a way of thinking, a mindset that constantly pushes me beyond my limits. As a professional freestyle windsurfer, I’ve learned that true progress comes from embracing the impossible, from failing a thousand times before landing that one move that once felt out of reach. Whether it’s glassy lagoons for technical combos, powerful waves with perfect kickers, or chaotic, gusty chop that forces complete adaptability—every session is a lesson in resilience, creativity, and commitment. No matter where I am in the world, I’ll never turn down a light-wind session at my home spot, because that’s where the real work happens—the quiet grind that makes the impossible possible.

Developing Windsurf Gear – Pushing the Limits
I’ve always been passionate about gear—how it works, how it feels, and how it can be improved. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with Duotone Windsurfing and Flikkaboards, testing and refining equipment to push the boundaries of performance.
For the 2025 Duotone Freestyle sail, my testing played a key role in its development. I focused on power delivery, handling, and responsiveness, helping to fine-tune the sail for explosive freestyle moves. In particular, the small sizes—3.6 and the soon-to-be-released 3.2—are my signature sizes. These sails were designed with my style and input, making them perfect for light and technical riders who want full control in high winds.
Flikka – Building My Dream Boards
I’ve always loved working with my hands—building, repairing, and bringing new ideas to life. That passion led me to shape my own board years ago and to join Flikkaboards early on, back when they were still an insider tip. Together with Luka, the shaper, I’ve been able to create my dream boards and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
One of my biggest game-changers was the light-wind freestyle weapon Luka built for me, which helped me become Austrian Windsurf Champion in 2018. But that’s not all—he also shaped a high-wind freestyle board with 82L, designed for choppy and gusty conditions, which is perfect for lightweight riders like me. This board gives me the control and pop I need, even when the wind is howling.
When wingfoiling started to take off, Flikka teamed up with Airinside to develop the first hollow, high-performance wingboards. I’m super happy to be part of this new technology, representing both Flikka and Airinside while helping with testing and development. These ultra-light boards are a game-changer, making wingfoiling even more dynamic and responsive.
Over the years, I won several National Freestyle Windsurfing Titles and competed at the highest level of professional windsurfing, pushing myself against the best riders in the world. The competitive fire never really fades, and maybe—2025 is the year I make a comeback on tour.
From Windsurfing to Filmmaking – My Journey Behind the Lens
What started as a passion for capturing my own windsurfing sessions and travel adventures quickly evolved into something much bigger. With every project, I realized that filmmaking wasn’t just about documenting moments—it was another way to chase adrenaline, tell stories, and push creative boundaries.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on high-profile productions across multiple industries. I contributed to major campaigns for Duotone Windsurfing and Duotone Wing, created content for ION Water, and worked on the Duotone Academy projects in both kiteboarding and wingfoiling. Beyond action sports, I’ve filmed for big players aswell as local businesses, produced one of Austria’s biggest outdoor events, and developed TV series about watersports.
But my passion for speed and extreme environments didn’t stop there. For the past five years, I’ve been part of the media team at the legendary Hahnenkamm Races, one of the most prestigious ski events in the world. In motorsports, I’ve covered over 50 Formula E races, capturing the evolution of electric racing, and have been to Le Mans four times, filming at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This journey eventually led me to Porsche Motorsport, where I now work as a team producer, merging my love for high-performance machines, extreme sports, and filmmaking. Just like in windsurfing, it’s all about precision, instinct, and capturing the defining moments that tell the story.
Reborn on Water – A Story of Resilience
One of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever worked on is a documentary called „Reborn on Water.“ The film tells the inspiring story of Weronika Lato, a windsurfer who lost half of her pelvis due to bone cancer and is now fighting her way back to the sport she loves.
Her journey is one of resilience, determination, and the deep connection between human spirit and the ocean. It’s a story that goes far beyond windsurfing—it’s about never giving up, no matter how impossible the comeback may seem.
„Reborn on Water“ is set to launch in early autumn 2025, and I can’t wait to share this powerful story with the world.
Beyond the Wind – What’s Next?
With so many stories to tell and experiences to share, I wanted to create something truly personal—something that goes beyond the action-packed highlights and dives into the reality of my life as an athlete, filmmaker, and storyteller.
That’s why, in 2025, I’m launching my new YouTube video series, „Beyond the Wind.“ This series will take you inside my world—from the thrill of competing to the relentless drive to learn new moves and develop my filmmaking career. It will showcase the highs, the struggles, the travels, and the moments in between.
Expect raw emotions, behind-the-scenes insights, and maybe even a bit of drama—because, well… I tend to push myself too far, break myself, and then get right back up. Whether it’s chasing the perfect windsurfing session, producing high-stakes motorsports content, or juggling life on the road, this is my story—unfiltered, unscripted, and beyond the wind.
Stay tuned—it’s going to be a wild ride!
